As a lead instructor in our Tenerife freediving courses, Laia is a national record-holding freediver and passionate teacher, dedicated to helping people find freedom and ease in the water. With years of experience teaching AIDA freediving and breath mastery, she will guide you in surrendering to the ocean and embracing the silence below.

Jan Koller – Freediver, Discomfort & Breathwork Coach
Jan’s background in extreme sports, freediving, and trauma-informed breathwork allows him to create a truly holistic experience. With over 10,000 hours of training, his approach blends nervous system work, yoga, and movement to help you develop trust in your body, breath, and inner stillness.

His journey has taken him through intense physical and mental challenges, near-death experiences, and over 10,000 hours of training—ranging from breathwork and trauma healing to deep stillness and authentic connection practices.

    All of this comes together in Deep Blue Journey—a space for those ready to let go of the old, gain new perspectives, and step away from the noise of everyday life. Here, you’ll have the chance to realign, strengthen your connection to your core, and discover what truly lies within you.

Our cozy accommodation in Bocacangrejo offers the perfect space to relax and recharge after a day in the ocean. You'll be staying in a beautiful house just steps from the water, with shared common areas to connect with fellow participants.

  • No prior experience is required! Our AIDA 1+2 course is designed for beginners and those looking to refine their skills. Whether you’re new to freediving or have some experience, you'll be guided at your level.

  • Yes, absolutely! Whether you're new to yoga, breathwork, or somatic movement, the practices will be adapted to all levels. Our facilitators will support you every step of the way to ensure you feel comfortable and engaged.

  • Each day will include a mix of activities such as freediving sessions, breathwork, yoga, and time for quiet reflection. Expect mornings with yoga and movement to awaken the body, followed by freediving and breathwork sessions, and afternoons dedicated to relaxation, nature walks, and stillness.

  • Please bring:

    • Comfortable clothing for yoga and movement

    • Swimsuit and personal freediving gear (if you have your own)

    • A journal and pen for reflection

    • A positive, open mindset ready for personal growth and transformation!

  • Yes! We’ve intentionally designed the retreat to give you ample time to unwind and reconnect with yourself. There will be quiet walks along the cliffs, guided meditations, and free time to reflect by the ocean.

  • Meals are not included in the price of the retreat. However, you have the option to enjoy meals together with the group or explore local restaurants around the area. The retreat includes accommodation and all activities, but meals and flights are not part of the package.

  • The activities are designed to be gentle yet transformative, focusing on connection rather than competition. Freediving requires some physical conditioning, but we will support you through every step. Yoga and breathwork are suitable for all fitness levels.

  • You don’t need to be an expert swimmer, but some comfort in the water is important. If you're unsure, let us know ahead of time, and we’ll ensure you're supported during the freediving sessions with safety measures in place.

  • Tenerife enjoys mild temperatures year-round. During the retreat, you can expect pleasant, sunny weather, though bring layers for cooler mornings and evenings, especially by the ocean.
